Nvidia Xconfig / Texture Compression Error

When I go to load the wine desktop to run steam and play left 4 dead it comes up saying that I have texture compression turned off and to check my graphics card (Nvidia 9800m GTS) settings.

So when I go to terminal and open up my Nvidia config it reads that I don't have my Xcontrol / config (not sure which one, sorry) plugin.

I went to yast to look for the repo and dl it. I couldn't find it though. Any one know where i can get ahold of this. I do indeed have my drivers updated for my graphics card so this is why i am not sure why i can't play with the settings.

Also, would this be why my openGl screensavers are running very, very slow.
