After updating to KDE 4.3.3, will the openSUSE KDE4 integration patches still work? I mean, will Firefox and OpenOffice still use KDE4 themes and notifications and all such patches?

I confess I am unsure exactly what you mean here. But I'm not aware of any issues with the upgrade.

Thanks for the reply. Also, is it possible that an official KDE 4.3.3 upgrade will be coming any time soon?

That will not change. The Build Service provides update options and the kde43 is an official update to kde4.3.3 (This will change however as it did with the kde42 - And I expect in time kde43 will be ended). But I'm unsure on the detail.

certainly it makes sense to upgrade to 4.3.3 - there is no mega difference but more minor improvements (mainly behind the scenes).
kde is just like an escalator - with kde 4.3.4 due out next week and the 4.4 next year... |
