Since a while back (a week maybe) I get an error when installing software or refreshing repos using zypper or Yast. The error is
Code:
File '/repodata/repomd.xml' not found on medium 'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Subversion/openSUSE_11.1/' I have a feeling that this is in preparation for 11.2. Regards, Micke. |

Thanks for the answer but I think you got it wrong.
I have installed Subversion using openSUSE build service to get a more up-to-date version of Subversion than is included in 11.1. Using one-click install from the openSUSE build service web site also adds a repository. I did this maybe six months ago. Now all of a sudden, this repository has vanished which leads to errors every time I use package management (zypper, Yast, kupdateapplet ...). To get rid of the error I can easily remove the repo in Yast or zypper (it's gone anyway) but then I won't get any updates to the Subversion packages. So how do I keep my Subversion installation up-to-date now that the repository I installed it from has gone? Regards, Micke. |

I think they moved things around on OBS, just search here and probably select a devel:tools repository. You just need to edit your existing repository an change the path entry. -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° (Linux Counter #276890) SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 (x86_64) Kernel 2.6.27.37-0.1-default up 2 days 12:42, 2 users, load average: 0.15, 0.29, 0.22 GPU GeForce 8600 GTS Silent - CUDA Driver Version: 190.18 |
