You need to update your kernel. Please run Online Update from Yast or do
zypper up in a su terminal.

The only thing I am wondering is if your repos are ok, so please post the result of this

zypper lr -d

Also from a su terminal do this and post result:

cat /boot/grub/menu.lst

The zypper up successfully ran, and then I tried these as you requested.

Stopping VirtualBox kernel module done
Recompiling VirtualBox kernel module failed
(Look at /var/log/vbox-install.log to find out what went wrong)
