Hi,
My panel at the bottom of the screen has vanished. First off the "shutdown" button in the computer menu vanished so I restarted and when I did that, the entire panel had vanished. I shut down and restarted again but it hasn't helped. What next please? Thanks Ocky |

I got that from digesting this: RE: Restore default panel on gnome desktop? Luck

So, what happens if you do ALT-F2 then type 'gnome-panel'? Does it get reinstated?
