Question Nautilus error, desktop doesn't show any icons

Hi:

Been snooping around, coulnd't find an answer to this one: I was working fine the other day, and after applying the suggested updates I turned of my PC. Next day when I logged in, my desktop had no icons, and after a while everything freezes and the only thing I can do is push the power button to turn off the PC. Safe mode is somewhat usable, but still I see no icons on my desktop, and in either mode the mouse cursor shows the "hourglass" graphic. If I try to run nautilus from a terminal, I get:

nautilus: symbol lookup error: nautilus: undefined symbol: g_reload_user_special_dirs_cache

Any clues? I'm using GNOME and OpenSuSE 11.1, with DropBox installed...

Thanks in advance

Default Re: Nautilus error, desktop doesn't show any icons

Bump...

So far I had to reinstall without reformatting my /home partition, and now I can login normally, so I'll backup my files and format completetly to do a fresh install again.
