Question How fo I install Fireox 3.5.x ?
Hi,

I recently downloaded from firefox 3.5 from fire fox page. Then It brings me the firefox-3.5.2.tar.bz2 file, and I don't know how to continue withe installation

help please!

You have to compile the one from the website yourself.

OR, you can take the easy route and do the following:

Forget the file you downloaded. Add the repo quoted.
Then run Updates.

I just add the

/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.1/ respositorie into yast software repositories, click on update but nothing happens.

I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

What do I have to check to see if I do the corect steps ?

If you added the repository to software repositories then the command
Code:
sudo zypper up MozillaFirefox
will update Firefox to the latest version in the repository.

I added repo and used sudo zypper up MozillaFirefox, but get following result:
linux-h9uz:~ # sudo zypper up MozillaFirefox
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
No update candidate for 'MozillaFirefox'.
Resolving package dependencies...
Nothing to do.

Any ideas?

I bet the output of the above
zypper lr -d

shows you don't have the Mozilla repo enabled
