Mozilla FF 3.5.2 icons

Hi all,
I am using Opensuse 11.1 64bit with KDE 4.3 RC3. After successful update I don't have any longer the application icons in the "Downloads-Windows" of FF.
The strange thing what happens is that I can temporarily recover from this error by running gnome-control-center. Clicking on the appearance window tells me first that gnome-settings-daemon is not running (conflict with KDE) but clicking again pops up the settings window. After that all associated icons appear in the Downloads-Window of Firefox - until I reboot

What is wrong with my installation? Does anyone have a clue?
