No. 4.1.3 is NOT more stable than 4.2.x (in particular 4.2.4).
However, 4.2.4 is still woefully incomplete. 4.3 is out there, it might
work better eventually.

openSUSE 11.0 + KDE 3.5 = happy.

openSUSE 11.0 + KDE 4.0beta = misery.

openSUSE 11.0 + KDE 4.1.x = misery.

openSUSE 11.0 + KDE 4.2.4 = good luck with that...

openSUSE 11.1 + KDE 3.5 = happy.

openSUSE 11.1 + KDE 4.2.4 (after the fact) = not as happy, but liveable
