I just want to hear others experience with this game, and if maybe somebody knows how to tweak wine to make it work.

ok, then we wait and see if someone looks in and can help....actually,
you could help yourself some by trying it in WINE and reporting back..

I already did, it installs perfect without any tweaking. But when i lunch the game in wine 1.1.9 nothing happens.

But after i upgraded to wine 1.1.25 it says: The program Autorun has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Have you tried running it from the terminal, I suspect you'll get missing xyz a billion times, at that point I wish you luck. I always found if you have to work it in then it can take days of trouble shooting, wasn't worth the hassle for me so now I stick the xbox on.

And was I to play games on the pc then I would buy linux games,http://www.linuxgamepublishing.com/ support the guys supporting us, it is only by supporting them we'll see changes. [Phoronix] An Interview With A Linux Game Porter

It is difficult to buy linux games, when you play games like football manager 2009 and Pro cycling Manager 2009.

And for me this is more like a religion than a game.
I managed to get football manager 2009 to work after a lot of tweaking. Which was my demand for switching from Windows.

I really love Opensuse and the linux way of thinking, so I would hate to switch back.

The compromise might be to run Windows as a virtual guest for those
gotta-have games that don't work. I use Virtualbox and it seems to do just
fine. Also, I've found that a lot of Wine programs won't run until you
copy some missing DLL or the other from your Win installation. That's all
it takes to get most of the stuff I load up and running. You can spot the
missing pieces when you run the app from a command line. I've also had
grief from autorun - usually there is a setup.exe somewhere on the distro
disk that will install just fine when autorun fails.
