Default how to add shortcut key to show desktop?

how could I assign a shortcut key to showdesktop...opensuse 11.1, kde 3.5...many thanks

what are you trying to accomplish--make all stuff minimize so you can
see your desktop, or what?

there is a hot-key for that, i think...but, i don't remember what it is!

I believe it's alt+ctrl+d
