I am setting up a new email account in Evolution. I receive email ok so the POP setup is correct. I cannot send email and get the following error message from Evolution:
"Error while performing operation. MAIL FROM command failed: authsmtp08: Host 71.115.112.19: No unauthenticated relaying permitted" Is this a problem with my Evolution setup or with the hosting service? Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Most likely a configuration issue. Did you enable "smtp authentication" (usually a checkbox) under evolution smtp server setup? Greetings, -- Camaleón |
