Pblm compiz & metacity

Hello! Here is my problem, I will try to be clear and quick. In order to run Blender I had uninstalled Compiz and installed Metacity. I did not find a way to launch Metacity, no icon. I have decided to reinstall Compiz but now I have the same problem I had with Metacity, I don not know how to launch it... it does not appear in System/look and feel as it should do. Do you know how to fixe that please ? Thanks.

I am running on OpenSuse 11.1 and a Gnome desktop.
