am migrating from suse 9 to suse 11. I normaly ftp over a log file detailing the packages installed from /var/lib/YaST2/you/youlog. However, with my new build of suse 11 I notice that this log file does not exist.
1. Has it been discontinued? 2. Is there a comparable log file ie /var/log/YaST2/y2logRPM or /var/log/YaST2/y2log 3. Thanks in advance |

Hi.
Not sure if this idea makes sense but since 11.1 there's also /var/log/zypp/history. Maybe that helps... |

Thanks for your help and responses. I am aware of the two files. However, I cannot find out any information in regards to youlog and I need an exact replacement of the youlog file for audit purposes.
Is it possible for one of you guys to post a quick overview of what youlog contains vs these other log files. |
