Default How to add a shell application to the KDE 4.1 Panel

Hello all,

I have suse 11.1 with KDE 4.

I would like to know how to add an application to the KDE 4.1 Panel. The application that I want to add was installed manually and currently it can only be called from the terminal / console.

Thanks for any help on solving this issue!

This how I did it.
Right click the green Chameleon lower left select " menu editor " create a menu entry to start the app, set to run in a terminal.

Next right click the apps icon in the menu and select "add to panel".

Then right click the panel select "panel settings" and move it to were you want on the panel.
