Default Keyloggers and other bad stuff.

It's natural to be nervous when used to using Windows, but maybe someone could address these issues:

1) Linux is known for being virus/malware/spyware resistant. Is it still that way? Are there Linux keyloggers that can be installed unknowingly from the internet.

2) I'm running World of Warcraft on Wine. Does Wine have the same susceptibilities that Windows has? If it does, since I'm not running anything but WOW on Wine, is it possible for keyloggers to cross from Linux into Wine?

3) Does the Linux firewall protect applications running in Wine?

4) Is there a good virus/keylogger program for Linux?

Thanks.

Some of these issues were discussed recently, maybe this will give you a starting point for more queries.

I know nothing about WOW (the only game I play in Linux is chess, and I use native Linux programs for that).

But I have read a number of entertaining articles posted by users who have tried (unsuccessfully) to get virus to run fully under wine. Take a look at some of these entertaining reads:IMHO users who run Virtual Box or VMWare are much more likely to see their virtual sessions infected by a virus (than a user running wine).
