KDE 4.1 add widgets to panel

if i add widgets to the main panel they always show up at the very right end of it. is there any way to customize the position? Very annoying: I accidentally removed the application launcher and when i put it back i got it on the right side now.....crazy

found it. panel settings, and when you then go back with the cursor on the panel you can move the icons.
