No.2 gives an example.

Then there seems to be a 'get out clause'
If you install Firefox 1.5 or later, you can enable the Java Console menu item in the Tools menu. Change directories to the Firefox extensions directory, then unzip ffjcext.zip there.

cd /usr/lib/firefox-1.4/extensions
unzip /usr/java/jre1.6.0/lib/deploy/ffjcext.zip

So this bit:

Is all greek to me and I then feel truly beaten.

I would be very grateful is someone using Suse 11.1 could take me through this so I can get the plugin working again. I apologise in advance if some of this seems obvious to you, when it isn't to me.
Hi
I have come back from holiday and I am still stuck with this one.

I now believe that I have linked Java and Firefox, but the verify Java page tells me, 'Your Java version is 1.6.0_0'

I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this, I'm am not sure what information I need to provide so you can see where the problem is?

Regards
