Default Re: I can't hear anything but the log out sound

Some news to the problem. I tried to tweak the mixer set up (like oldcpu said) by right clicking on the speaker symbol in the right corner of KDE 4.1.3 (Plasma) and turned everything on 3D surround and stuff. Then I pushed quit which I thought was save and exit. But now I suspect that it was exit the program. Then I tried youtube and I got sound. But it wasn't loud enough so I thought that it was because the little speaker on the right corner only were at 77%. The icon was gone so I tried to find the program using YaST/hardware/sound and then the sound disappeared.

My theory is that when I log off openSUSE turns the speaker symbol program off before it plays the log out sound. That's why I hear it. Can that be true?
