Under Apache2 web server there is a "ServerAlias" directive that may help
you to get this:

core - Apache HTTP Server

Can you please elaborate this a bit? Are you saying that you are unable to
boot by selecting the standard boot menu entry? :-?

Give us more info about your connection settings.

If using opensuse as server with a wired connection, I would suggest you to
use a network setup with "traditional method (ifup)" instead of
networkmanager.

Actually what I mean is when I reboot I get a screen that makes me literally hit enter to load opensuse or in safe mode. I have to go an hook up a monitor reboot and then hit enter to boot....sort of like a dualboot option with windows but no countdown
