Another way to do the updates with all these name changes is to use the repositories filter & click All In This List, then select Update If Newer Version Available.
Now if one has the KDE Factory repos in place the newer versions will be in blue. The trick here is the red versions.
Here's how I did it:
1.Opened Yast
2.In the filter selected Repositories
3.In the upper right pane right clicked any blue item then selected All In This List >Update If Newer Version Available
4.With all the new updates marked with the green arrow look at the lower right pane click the versions tab
5.Carefully go through the apps in the upper right pane
6.When you come up to a red one select it then look down in the lower right pane
In that pane you'll see something like what I've got here:
check the latest version that you see there in this case
4.2.95-93-x86_64
Yast will put a green arrow in it. Do this for every red item you see. One more thing here on some apps the checked version will also be the latest just leave them be.
7.click Accept Yast will then bring up a box that'll have what will be removed & updated with Continue or Cancel at the bottom click Continue
All of the name changes will click into place.
