Default Re: SupremeFX X-Fi Audio Card

Thanks! I went to Creative Web site and found Linux32/64 bit drivers for the FXi series. The installs were to in a SU terminal in the source directory run "make" and "make install" and that is it! What do I do after that?????

I also looked for Cards in the HCL - I'm looking for one of those. Not easy most are no longer sold. I've seen newegg that the Turtle Beach RIVIERA 5.1 Channels 24-bit 48KHz PCI Interface Sound Card works in Linus under ALSA.

Can you point me to a whitepaper or instrustions to working with ALSA?

I'm thinking this is some type of test, if I get my system configured without reinstalling Windows I'm in the club...

Newbie (it must get easier after this?)
