Hi Everyone.
Opera 10 beta has a unique function called Opera Unite. It is supposed to make your web browser a Web server. No prior knowledge needed.
From the reports, it looks very promising. Currently, its still in its beta stages with a few bugs to sort out but its a good idea. Hopefully, it would opera to have a bigger market share.
A little more on the product.
File Sharing
Media Player: Access your complete home music library from wherever you are
The lounge: Invite friends to chat with you. Doubt this would really take off if we already use our favourite IMs
Web server: To allow you to host your own websites
The Fridge: I like this one the best, although it brings serious security risks IMO.
The great thing about all these features, is that you can enable only the ones you want to use and also its available for all platforms. Pretty sweet IMO

Imagine having the same service as google or gotomypc from home without having to be a tekkie or allowing one to help you set it up.
This was my first post in this area of the forums. Not accustomed to this sort of thing.
