Hi. AFAIK there's no folderview for KDE 4.0.x. It was introduced with KDE 4.1. I recommend an upgrade to KDE 4.2.4. It's much more usable than KDE 4.0 which was more a developer version than an end user version. The main KDE 4.2 repo for openSUSE 11.0 is

If you wish, you can add the community repository as well. It contains nice extra stuff like plasmoids and window decorations.

When you run into problems after upgrading delete the .kde4 folder in your home directory. It contains your settings and things have changed a little since 4.0. KDE will recreate that folder on your next login. Maybe you also want to look at
