Thanks, yes that would be one of my favorite sites for finding files that have been "corrected" (fixed) to work properly. The problem is that sometimes patches outpace the corrected versions so it is sometimes required for online play to be current on patches; which of course requires a CD/DVD be in a drive or the file is mounted.
It seems to me that if I put a DVD in my disk drive and it's recognized as "/media/NWN2MOTB" then an image mounted as "/media/NWN2MOTB" should be just as viable. Back when I used XP I could mount an image with DT or 52/120 and it worked just as well as a disk in the drive. I just don't understand why it wouldn't work in Linux/WINE if I mapped a WINE drive letter to the correct file folder.
