Need help with mounted Game disk ISO file being recognized.
I have NWN2 with the first expansion MotB (Mask of the Betrayer) that I'm trying to run along with other games without playing the "disk shuffle game". I've got both games fully installed and if I have the MotB disk in the drive I can usually start the game from the corresponding WINE icon. After a reboot or when waking from suspend I always have to start the game from the disks autorun.exe file for the system to recognize the disk.
My problem is that I've mounted an image, ISO file, I made of the disk using K3b. The image is mounted and I'm able to browse it just like a CD/DVD in my disk drive. WINE even recognizes the mounted image and assigns it a drive letter automatically. However if I try to run the game, either from the WINE icon or the Autorun.exe of the mounted image, I always get the "No Disk detected, Please insert the game CD" popup box with the only options being either Retry or Cancel. Any ideas on what I may have done wrong?
I'm running openSUSE 11.1 and have gotten the same result on both the 32 and 64 bit versions. Also, I am mounting the image to the /media folder if that makes a difference?
Thanks.
