Dreamweaver is a designers application for building websites, it's part of the Adobe CS3 suit. Dreamweaver has a built in FTP which can connect to other servers in order to transfer files accross.
Nautilus in in the menu at Computer --> Applications --> More applications --> System --> Home Folder. That's actually Nautilus.

So I put like this in the address bar:
ftp://www.kitsune.org/www
and I get a choice of things where I choose "connect as user" and "remember password"

That's it.

BTW the console is there in the menu near Home Folder. It's called "Gnome Terminal".
