Default Re: VLC issue: no sound, no video... nothing

Some things:
- "options snd-hda-intel=auto"? From /usr/src/linux/Documentation/sound/alsa/ALSA-Configuration.txt there exists a "model" option for the snd-hda-intel module. But in any case, would not be "options snd-hda-intel model=auto"?? Anyway, "auto" is already the default value of the model option.
- "esd audio output error" indicates you are using EsounD output plug-in in VLC. When we say you to remove "alsa-plugins-pulse" is to use the ALSA output in VLC.
- "I can't find vlc-plugin-pulse with the software manager, in the packman reposery". Yes, that's normal. That's why I said "ask Packman to package", that's it... Packman could *create a package* if you ask them.
- "there're a lot of big pixels" can be explained if your are using X11 without XVideo extension ("X11" output instead of "Xv"). Have you changed the video output in VLC options???
