Hi,

I started using opensuse 10.3 in the last week and I noticed that my notebook heats up a lot more when using linux compared to windows. I don't run heavy programs or games, so It's not really ordinary this much heat.

I know that heat wears down electronical components on long terms, so I'm a bit concerned about this issue...as much worried that I might think to go back to windows because I often need keep my pc on for many hours.

Is there anything I can do?

As always...thanks
