The madwifi web site is given in the above mentioned post.
You can download pre-compiled Suse driver packages from there - have a poke around madwifi.org
You need the driver + the appropriate kernel module packages. eg default, smp, big smp, etc.
You may need to install the source package if you plan to build the latest wpa_supplicant.
Once the drivers are installed, I think that the dlink will be recognized automatically, and should be simple to configure.
