I had to manually do this too. I have 10.3 x86_64. I believe it didn't work out of the box because I installed via CD + Repo, not DVD.

Anyways, Flash 9 does not work properly for me. Some animations play, some don't, some are "broken" (items missing or not properly presented). So I switched down to 7 (couldn't find .so for 8). Any suggestions?
