question about smart updater (the tray application).
On my GNOME system, I have it set to launch at startup, and I can see it sitting in the tray. However, it never detects if there are any new updates out there. I had it going for a couple of weeks, and nothing, even when I hover over the icon, it would say there are no interesting updates.
I launched the SMART installer, refreshed, and clicked the UP arrow (update) button, and there were a ton of updates available.
Why isn't the smart updater recognizing any updates within openSUSE GNOME, but in openSUSE KDE it works fine?
