The latest version of flash-player has GTK-dependencies that may not necessarily be in place during a KDE-only install.

I can't say for sure, I've held off on upgrading because of the issues with Konq compatibility, but I've heard enough complaining about the new flash-player that I hope Adobe is going back to the drawing board, at least if they're serious about linux.
