I am having trouble with the display of the installer in Suse 10.2. The install goes fine until X loads on the screen then all I get is squiggly lines going across my screen,the first page of the installer is there,I just can't read it.

I am trying to install Open Suse 10.2 on a Mac Mini G4 only 1.4 Ghz ,512 mgs ram,
Useing Mac OS 10.4 Video card is a Ati radeon 9600 32 meg.
Actually I already have a fresh install of Mac OS 10.4 on a external firewire drive and I am installing OpenSuse 10.2 on a seperate partition on that drive.
My monitor is a LG Flatron 19" Widescreen useing the digital port on the mini.
Can anyone help me out on this?
