Well,
I have 9.2.2, 10.3.9, yaboot and SuSE on 1 disk.
I created partitions for 9 and X with an X cd. I i recall correctly is did create a swap an root partiiton with the X cd also.
I then booted the SuSE rescue system and used pdisk to make teh swap and root partitions the corretc SuSE type.
Rebooted SuSE again to start the installation.
