Hi,

I use openSuSE 10, and updated to KDE 3.5.4 yesterday. Since then, I am not able to run programmes that require the root password (like Yast) from the KDE menu, or by using Alt+F2. When I use either of these methods, a window pops-up asking me for the root password (as usual), but on entering the password, gives me the message

"The program 'su' was not found; make sure your PATH is set correctly"

I can run these programmes by using the command line -- i.e., by using commands su, entering the password and then yast2

I don't know what is going wrong, and would welcome all help.
