really weird problem. The keyboard works fine under Win, and all other keys seem fine under Linux. But the 3rd letter of the alphabet is a problem (in Kate, URL field of browser, wherever).

If I just press the key I get nothing
If I hold shift and press I get C
If I hit Caps lock and then shift and press I get c

It is a plain old generic keyboard, used to work fine under SuSE 9.0 and 9.1 when originally installed. Hard to tell what/when it stopped - not the most commonly required letter!

SaX2 config has 105-key generic, UK layout and looks fine. In OpenOffice selecting different fonts doesn't cure anything (so not a font problem). Did a searh here for "lost c" and found nothing usefull.
