Hi Uwe,
If I press the "close" button at the right of the title bar of the mixer
window, the little icon of the blue loudspeaker remains docked on the right
hand side of the panel(just next to the clipboard icon).

Even if I "quit" it (and the icon disappears), it appears again the next
time I log in into KDE.

It is not a big problem, it is just that if there is a solution, I would
like to stop it doing so.

I can always wait until 10.2 :-)
